This piece is called: Pearl's view. So, this picture is dedicated to my grandmother Pearl Worthy Carr. The frame of the painting is painted in white pearlized color (This is Pearl) she had a rough road in life which depicts the de-colorized browns as well as the inside trim in black, the 8 squares or shapes you see are her children and grandchildren she had to raise alone...some of us shined and some of us gave her days of trouble which has black paint inside ..My Grandmother would get so mad at some of the things she went through and we took her through. She would say some crazy stuff. Which the scribble inside the picture. But she is no longer with us ...but her struggle was real. BUT NO MATTER WHAT She presses through, which is why some of the colors press through the black and dark shades and glitter reflects some of her victors in life. Though they maybe few...they are pretty! Thank you Pearl Worthy Carr..for raising yours and my mom's children and to all the grandmothers out ther
