Acrylic Painting What do we wait for? A hope, a promise or the revival of a tomorrow that resembles our yesterday. Maybe, just maybe this is our last call… I had a thought and within an hour the answer to what was to be our final call emerged. I saw hope, promise, responsibility and assurance entwined in vibrant color. Completed in July 2020, just after the rise in chaos that Covid provided, it seemed the only resolve of mind to comprehend it all. Would we delve further into the maddening discomfort or rise above and make sense of it all. Could we make it pass these mental barriers; would there come a time when we may recall? I choose Acrylic because it gave me the speed I needed to capture the thought; and the eye because though tainted and blurred, it sees all. I envisioned modernism for the fact that it not only lives but compliments this time.
