Artist Rene Sepulveda created this one-of-a-kind nod to the New Mexico high desert and white sands located near Alamogordo New Mexico. The piece was crafted with 5000-year-old Lava Rock from the Valley of the Fire Lave Flow, combined with recycled metals crafted into a whimsical piece inspired by the artists Native American cultural roots and his appreciation for the music of the violin and original violinist, Mik Kaminski from the European music group Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) that played a blue violin to a level of excellence thus this sculpture is titled “Blue Violin” as a tribute to his musical prowess. This one-of-a-kind piece, crafted from ancient lava flow rich in iron and metals. The recycled metals are crafted into a unique ant shape playing a violin as a whimsical interpretative abstract work of art.
