Here is my 2017 pumpkin I carved for The Chads Ford Pa. Historical Society Great Pumpkin live carve event. In this event a carve doesn't know what shape or color or side of the pumpkin they are assigned to carve. No power tool are suppose to be used in carving the pumpkin. This is alive carve event,meaning you carve on site, and you are allotted four hours to complete you master piece. You are aloud to enter the event as part of a pumpkin carving team. I my self always work alone. This year it took me about 6 hour to complete my creation. I have been doing this event for about 12 years, and i have not won any pumpkin carving completions. i only carve one pumpkin per year ,so I guess am not doing too bad. This particular carving event has 70+ carver competing for the prize, and there Is awaiting list I am told. Stephen.J. Vattimo 10/20/2017
