I started this painting in search for more realistic expression resources, taking as a reference system the Russian artist Ivan Ivanovich Shishkin (1832 - 1898). I chose the paining “Near the Coast of the Gulf of Finland” 92 cm (36.22 in.) X 146 cm (57.48 in.), oil on cardboard, 1889, State Russian Museum - Saint Petersburg (Russian Federation - St Petersburg) as a model. This is a composition with a peculiar expression strength suggesting different possible scenarios, and it could be the starting point for many other paintings.
