The base photo is of Auschwitz and is in the public domain. Two sunsets were used, one behind the building, and the other inside the outline of the building itself. Only the stone gate from the original photo of the building remains. The railroad tracks are also from the base photo. The tree in the gate, representing life, is the last photo in the group. A difficult piece for the artist to compose, people who purchase this image are very passionate about it. Limited edition of 100.
