International Award Winner! ‘Zuma Beach’ is a composite of two photos. The base photo is the beach and the second photo is a Colorado sunset. The beach photo was taken on Zuma Beach, a classic Southern California beach in Malibu. The wind was high that day, sand blowing everywhere. The spray off the waves is indicative of how windy it was. While the artist kept the waves crisp and clean, the surrounding beach is somewhat blurred. The sky works well with the sea as the grey line of clouds on the horizon compliment the ocean. PS CS6 and Topaz software were used in this composition. Limited edition of 50.
