The historic water tower at the edge of town once tended water to the steam locomotives of the region in the early 1900's. Today it sits ideal begging for historic preservation. The sculpture crafted of recycled tins and embedded on 5000 year old Valley of the Fires Lava rock pays homage to the history of Alamogordo and its early settlers. Available online and can be seen in person at the 2nd Life Boutique at Roadrunner Emporium, 928 New York Avenue, Alamogordo New Mexico
