First, the planes, are from a photo in the public domain of an armada of planes that flew over Tokyo Bay when the Japanese surrendered; the second, the canyon, was taken by Fleur Kaiser in the southwest US; the third photo, the clouds, are from a shot off of the artist's back porch, and; fourth, the rays of light are from a NASA image in the public domain.
