The base photo is from Yellowstone and taken with an instamatic camera. This trail into the deep woods draws the viewer into a quiet place. The trail is solid whereas the surrounding forest is nebulous. I consider this my Monet! And no surprise, it is my best selling piece. Originally a landscape, I sought to give the trees more majestic height by converting the image into a portrait. One of my early works, the greens pop while the tree trunks create a corridor for the viewer eyes to wander through. Don’t leave this one off your wall! Beautiful in aluminum. Limited edition of 100.
